“Things are changing so quickly in the world - but I am a positive person. I believe we need to keep trying new things to solve complex challenges. That excites me!”

As an Integration Architect, Rochelle works with those individuals, project leads and organisations working to solve complex challenges - day in, day out.

Isolating data in order to plan for large scale migrations and system integrations – among other things – is often mission-critical to the clients Rochelle collaborates with.

Understanding and planning for all the risks involved across successful deployments are both critical to her reputation, and critical to her client’s business-as-usual functions.

“I had a complex challenge I was trying to solve. But given the sheer level of data I was working with, there was no way I could have done so manually”.

HubScope allows its customers to visually translate their ‘as-built’ technical landscape. It provides an accurate articulation of their organisation's situational analysis and interdependencies.

“When I could see exactly what interdependencies were involved it allowed me to deploy independently, rather than across the whole platform. Previously, the entire code base had to be released to implement one change. I mean, that is a huge shift”.

Organisations often work somewhat in the dark, leaving them with ‘best-guess’ assumptions as a means of determining their deployment plans. It’s not uncommon for intellectual property to move on, leaving legacy systems at risk. This ultimately impacts the end-user, or worse, leaves data completely exposed.

“Decision-makers and testers have an accurate, visual picture of what to expect. I recommend this to clients and peers as a solution, all the time.”
