“We are now working in a world where organisations and partners have somewhat embraced the ‘Cloud’. Often, our big data is no longer centralised.”

Forming data connections and producing evidence to substantiate operational decision-making is by no means uncommon in Steve’s role, as a Data Architect for the Ministry of Justice.

In moving workflows into the Cloud, the challenge of bringing complex data back together, accurately, really is make or break in many situations.

When your calculations and reporting directly impact the end user, or larger still, the lives of New Zealanders – there is no room for risk or uncertainty.

“Hubscope is a product that gives your organisation the answers it needs toward an outcome. A tool that enables you to make better, more calculated, decisions.”

Data, of course, provides organisations with evidence. But looping that evidence back across isolated steering groups or business operations requires constant communication – and understanding.

Human nature and lived-experiences can determine how individuals engage in problem solving, forming different perspectives and conclusions – and therefore forming different responses in relation to that problem.

“Hubscope means you can show the relation between data, visually. This relates to the project owner. They then understand the complexity of what their request actually means.”

Whether migrating a legacy system and wanting to better understand the impact across the organisation, or producing reports that isolate targeted, interconnected evidence - audiences can visually understand and identify with the facts!

“This is a great vehicle for solving complex problems and presenting that information back to core stakeholder groups and decision makers.”
