Integration Technology Survey July 2021

This is a non exclusive list of commercial integration platforms selected based on internet results on the 1st July 2021. Hursley does not endorse or directly sell any of these technologies which are provided below for information only.

As well as these platforms a number of lower level techniques are available as required including but not exclusively: filesharing, database sharing, webhooks, point to point interfaces, message queue data exchange. The examples we found also include specialised integration platforms such as those used to integrate smart buildings, add robotic process automation and integration of data pipelines into the cloud.

Typically an organisation will have a number of integration technologies at play at any one time, perhaps with critical integrations taking place across a single technology platform. Continuous review and consolidation is recommended as well as keeping an eye out for new disruptive technologies that add value and/or reduce costs. Hursley will review and refresh this list on at least an annual basis which is likely to be not frequent enough.

This list compiled from internet searches in order to illustrate the wide (and ever changing) list of technologies available. To avoid prejudice these platforms are listed in alphabetic order. The first list contains links to the respective websites and below this are overview videos reviewed as part of our survey. Note that product name, links and videos are as as July 2021 so you are encouraged to perform your own survey as part of your own integration platform options analysis.
